Artist's Statement:

First and most important to me, is to see the world and painting interms of color and to strive toward color intensity and clarity. Also, I am greatly interested in the echoing of natural forms, one to another, and in the intricacy and beauty of the smallest creatures seen at close range.

Resume:

Jeanne Anderson was born in Houston, Texas and has always been interested in nature and being outdoors. She attended college at the University of Texas, graduated from Smith College and discovered painting as a post graduate at the University of Hawaii. She discovered watercolor some 8 years ago and is fortunate enough to be in Arthur Turner's class at Glassell School, and also fortunate to have been in shows and sold paintings to various collectors.
